What made you LOL today?

I was the same as a kid. Even a balloon popping and I would freak out. I never saw a horror movie until I was about 20. And it was Candyman, and I didn't sleep for about three days.

Talk about picking an "easy" one to watch.

The one time I got like that was at school (I went to boarding school), me and my GF had sneaked out at night to a field to go do what teenagers do, we were just getting down to doing it when something big and black jumped over our legs, now she'd just finished reading The Rats and starting Lair and I was half way through Domain, 2 teenagers have never lost the mood so quick, it took a couple of days before it would stand to attention again

lmao.

I saw Jaws when I was very young. For two weeks I peed in the garden and made mum keep the toilet lids closed :D

I don't know where I stand at this "fright" scale. Any game, any VR, I shrug it off. But if something I've worked for is at stake and I'm unsure how to deal with the threat? My heart is pumping in Skyrim's dungeons if I find myself vulnerable.

In real life I am ing terrified of responsibility unless I'm fully certain that what I am responsible for I can fix. Outside of that it's difficult phase me. It's like this limbo where I don't care what happens to me, whatever, but if people depend on me and I don't know the best course of action, I lose my sh*t.

Very little "in game" scares me. I guess with exposure you eventually learn to accept it and not let it bother you.

The only thing that has made me really jump in any game ever is when you are in the dark tunnels in Fallout 3 and out of nowhere you get that "MBERRRRRRRR!" ghoul noise. Which is much more of a "jumpy" sort of scare because you weren't expecting it.

Seems to pack some punch that.

Yeah it's pretty crazy. Just makes everything rattle and shake. Tuning it shouldn't be too hard. Going to try and hide it completely out of sight, making more space where the system is to get a proper hifi stand.
