Hey guys,

Looking for some feedback/recommendations for my upcoming upgrade. This rig will only be used for gaming.

Current Rig:
Case: HAF X
PSU: Corsair AX 1200W
Mobo: P67 Asus Maximus IV Estreme B3
CPU: I7-2600k @4.2 Ghz (With Noctua NHD14 cooler).
RAM:
Mushkin 2x4GB DD3 1600 MHZ Redline Ridgeback.
GPU: MSI GTX 580 Lightning
SC: Asus Xonar D2X
HDD: WD Veloci Raptor 10000 RPM 600 GB
OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
Keyboard: Corsair K70
Mouse: Logitech G400
Screen: Samsung T240 24" 1900x1200
Headset: Sennheiser PC 360 G4ME

So as you can see its a pretty good rig (was a monster 2 years ago when it was new :D), but i do want to upgrade the following components : GPU, HDD and Screen. I don't see any reason what so ever upgrading my mobo, cpu or ram(8GB is plenty for gaming) for at least another year or 2, although feel free to make suggestions if you think i am wrong :)

GPU: I'm pretty much set on getting the MSI GTX 780 Lightning when or if it is ever released, if not, a stock 780 will do just fine.

HDD: This is where i am totally clueless in what to get. Reliability is the most important thing for me here and have narrowed it down to either the Intel 520 or Samsung 840 Pro. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Has to be at least 250 GB.

Screen: Asus 27" PB278Q 2560x1440. I play for the most part FPS games so if anyone has any better suggestions then fire away (needs to be 2560x1440).

If your happy with your mobo, ram, and cpu, i can see no reason whatsoever to change, it is still a fast cpu and that motherboard is awesome (had one before) so just change the components you said. GPU wise you can't go wrong with a 780, but if you don't want to wait for the msi lightning edition the EVGA ACX Superclocked, the new ASX cooler is extremely good and i personally think it looks a lot better than the lightning.

When you say HDD i think you mean SSD, and whell the ones you have mentioned are very good drives but one to think about also is the SanDisk Extreme 240gb, its faster than the 840 pro and on par with the intel 520 but its around £50 cheaper!! for me its a no brainier but its your choice.

Monitor wise that is a good choice but im not that up with monitors so better for someone else to say! :D
