Hi Guys,

Just though I'd share my finished rebuild - I've just switched over from AMD to Intel and decided I wanted to do things properly.

Back when I first posted up my rig in it's earlier guise, TTL wasn't a fan of the side window grill and I agreed. I had a custom piece of perspex made up and I'm so glad I did!

Whilst I was going along the custom route.. I had some GPU Backplates and SLI covers designed, to better blend in with the theme of the new mobo. I also cut up some Corsair 800D grommets to fit the CM690.

Still have a few minor things to sort, but it's up and running - I'm pleased with it so far. Comments/ Suggestions Welcome!

CPU = Intel Haswell i7-4770k, OCed to 3.9GHz
Watercooled By = EK Custom W/C Loop
Motherboard = ASUS ROG Maximus VI Formula
RAM = 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro
PSU = CoolerMaster SilentPro M1000
Video Cards = Gainward GTX680 x2 in SLi
Chassis = CoolerMaster CM690II Advanced, Corsair SP and AF Fans, NZXT Mix Fan Controller
OS = Windows 7 64Bit
Storage = Crucial M4 128 SSD, WD Caviar Black 1TB
Monitor = Asus VG278HE 27" 1080P 144Hz
Audio = Logitech X530 5.1 Speakers / G930 7.1 Headset
Peripherals = Logitech G15 Keyboard v2 + G700 Gaming Mouse

What it looked like before:

I did indeed - plain bright white illumination, with the ability to adjust brightness. This is about 1/3 of how bright they go.

This is a beautiful upgrade sir, I must say your red theme is quite eye catching. You have a nice tidy and all around attractive looking build. A work of art you should be proud of :]

Thanks All!

I was thinking of getting a plate made up in the same style as the GPU plates to cover over the PSU label.. thoughts?
