I like RE games and I do like the 4th one but I would prefer if they remade the second and third games.

First three were the best.

I want to get excited for this but I can't.
I spent the best part of 3 days downloading hi-res mods for this game and it look incredible. This, well this just looks like the Gamecube version of RE4.
Is one of my favourite games of all time.

I want a HD version of the GameCube remake they did of RE1 for PC, they improved on the original a lot with it. I played that game on all difficulties including invisible zombie mode where all the zombies and everything else are invisible, good times.

A HD remake of the second and third would be good as well, especially the third :D The Nemesis in number 3 had me jumping out my seat a few times.

4 as well as 6 are my least favourite, so I won't be picking this HD version up.

The remake of the third would be amazing, if they put at least the same amount of effort as they did with the first. My girlfriend is a huge RE fan and all the hype of the 6th one before it came out. Needless to say she was really disappointed with Leon's campaign even though that was supposed to be like the old games.

Bring back true survival horror where ammo was kinda scarce and you had to search for it rather than shoot a crow and it craps out flash grenades and such for you.

This is what Capcom need to do, bring back the survival horror which made the Resident Evil series what it is, or should I say was.

All this action orientated gameplay and QTE crap just ruins what was once a good series. Silent Hill is the only survival Horror series to stick to it's roots, shame Konami don't release Silent Hill games on the PC anymore.

I wasn't aware of it, but now I have to try it :)
I knew I should of bought HL2 in the sales, oh well it's only £7 anyway.

You don't need HL2, I just read the instructions.

1. Install Steam (if you dont have it) 2. While in Steam choose "Tools" tab and install Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer. (it is very important!) 3. Unpack mod to your steamapps\sourcemods folder. 4. Restart Steam. 5. Play the game!

Good job I saw this post before I bought it :)
Installing it now!

Seeing as I already have RE4 installed, with high res textures and movies, plus mouse control mod, plus 1080p resolution hack, I'll give this a miss. Plus I have the HD version on my ps3 already.

Yeah, I love this game.
