Quick News

Could have gotten it refunded then

I believe you but I don't see anyone complaining so I'm not sure if there were other things that happened to make up for it

I love ED, I have 600 hours into it, Even bought a HOTAS and Oculus Rift S for extra immersion, Truly amazing experience, But after the let down that was Horizons I won't be pre-ordering this, Yes the game in general is good but they talked about a lot of stuff for the expac that never made it in, I'll wait for full blown reviews a few months after it releases, Not getting my hopes up this time.

Just because I'm out for the loop could you elaborate on what didn't make it into it? I'm a founder member so I'd like to know what I missed out on that I paid for

I don't know of anything that was said to be in the Horizons DLC that didn't make it in.

I know back in 2014 Braben was talking about landing on planets, walking around your ship, stations, other peoples ships, planets etc.

Whilst the majority of that has not made it in to the game, we have been able to land on planets for a while but I think to many people were expecting to land on Earth likes which was as far as I am aware never promised.

If there is stuff that was promised then I would like to know because then I will be sending an email asking do I get a refund for them not delivering what was promised.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here; Lisa Su highest paid CEO last year, earning over £50 million. Just going to say it now, she deserves every cent for leading AMD out of the abyss

Hmm. I'll need to look into this later and see how this is calculated. Is that $50 million just her salary, or does it include stock options? If so, it makes sense that her pay is high, as AMD's stocks have seen huge increases since she became CEO. The deal she may have become CEO with may is worth around 20x more than before.

Asus x570 will support ALL Zen CPUs apparently in an upcoming BIOS update due to a rumoured 32MB ROM bios chip.

If you Google this you'll find a handful of news sites reporting this with assumed information in them, such as including APUs for support and an assumed 32MB ROM chip(though this one would probably be likely if rumour is true). Not very good journalism but their main source all comes from this tweet.

This is already the largest civil rights movement in world history due to the number and size of the protests internationally in solidarity with the 76% of American's who believe there is a "big problem" with racial discrimination in the country, along with additional related causes in each country. I think we all know why those protests didn't stay peaceful NBD. I'm sure we've all seen some of the thousands of videos of the cops attacking random passerby's and peaceful protesters, driving into crowds, macing people on their knees, ect that have led to hundreds of lawsuits in the past week.

I mean, even the top military official in the US, the joint chief of staff, condemned bringing the National Guard in as unconstitutional, and told his branches/generals to stand down and ignore Trump's orders and maintain peoples right to freedom of speech.

Thanks for your opinion on something you weren't there for and definitely not in the US to make an opinion on without the media making it for you.

I have lots of family in the US, are you personally on the streets watching the hundreds of protests simultaneously, or are you using the same sources as me? (Ive not got any of this through "the media").

Amazon UK placeholder listing for the PlayStation 5 reportedly went up, with a listing price of £599.99.
(For US that's $765 direct conversion (including 20% VAT, $638 without tax) but probably means actual US price is $600 or something) if this is legit
