Yep, also helps bleeding.
Ah yes. When you fill make sure to tip your rig around to the extreme to make sure you get out all of the air. I made the mistake of not bleeding a rad properly once and the temps were rubbish.

This is where I lost now , I'm on the fittings page browsing but there is just so much stuff & half of it outa stock, the only way I would get all the fittings that have been recommended previously in this thread would be to mix from different manufacturers which then puts me at risk of the tubing not fitting
If anybody has ten or fifteen minutes over the weekend to help my choose maybe via teamviewer or something like that it would be a great help ! I'm really grateful for all your help so far![]()
It should tell you in the assembly instructions.
Nicely done, that's a decent option. I'd get that CPU block on too, just for the heck of it. How are the GPU temps looking?
Nice one man![]()
Had a long gaming session tonight (Hitman 2), hitting mid to high 50s on the GPU core and the water temp is very warm in the loop also. I guess if the water temp is rising then that's a good sign. Speed on the D5 is 50%. I definitely think I need another rad. For a quick bench I never see the temps go over 49c.
It's all relative as it'll depend entirely on what the room temperature and the case ambient temperatures are. Even so, high 50's does seem a little higher than I'd expect. My apologies. I forgot to tell you that everything needs serious cleaning before you can use it. Have had a lot on my mind recently.
With regards to your CPU temps, this is why we said you didn't need a huge amount of rad space. Once you hit saturation temps nothing makes a difference.
Cheers guys for the help!!
