New Ryzen Build in a Define C!

Got myself a Define C non-window and built a 1700x in it on a crosshair. While I'm still working the kinks out, I am pretty stoked how it all went together. I had a really nervous moment when putting the Strix 980 in, dang was close to the front mounted H110i!! Here are some pics!

SSSOOOOO CLOSE lol

But in it went!

Not even scared of showing the back side. This case can manage up really well even only spending a very short time doing it. Was really nice for me as I couldn't afford to spend much time on it. 4 y/o twins.... ya...

Anyway, pleasure to build in. I highly recommend the Define C. It's amazing though it is small, just how easy a regular style build goes in.

How are your GPU temps?, I know when I built in mine with the GPU on air it got real warm under load.

Haven't had a chance to really let the machine be under a gaming load for a sustained amount of time, I've run some benches just to make sure everything is working normally and the 980 strix gets into 65-70c range.

Part of it is I'm still trying to dial in the fans with the 20% offset from the 1700x is kind of annoying. I suspect my temps may go up another 5c (Hopefully not more) when I dial those intake fans back. I didn't use the corsair fans that came with the H110i I used phanteks 140s I had from my last build, they are quieter than the corsair fans I think, still make some noise when they cross 1K rpms which they tend to do ALOT right now lol.
