Zu Machen!

Hopefully in the 400's, but the real thing is the labor cost, tools cost, and others. So in reality its not really a profit.

Filters in horizontaly, should work very basically within the shells of the lian li case. I'm going to be using the controller differnetly.

Fact:

1) The mach controllers suck it

2) Controller suck it

3) Who really wants a controller? :P

So I'm going to maybe use the controller for temp reading and fan control and thats it, but have the unit on a power on/off switch.

Yeah I said screw a controller for the cascade, just gimme a DT200 with a few pre-placed probes so I can keep an eye on a few temps.

That and with mobo's sometimes having a reboot problem *cough* asus *cough* this will be alot better.

Completely insulated as well as charged and its in the tuning process!

Best temp I saw last night was -35C @ 165watts, but so far have yet to re-acheive that. I'm more concerned at the moment about proper compressor cooling. The desuperheater coil on this thing is burning hot, and the condenser's quite warm. R507/Isceon89 in the unit and I gotta say thats quite a blend.

I've got a few ideas for further unit mods along the lines of cutting up a spare condenser for a primary desuperheater line.

Pics arriving in the next few days as I am fighting camera trouble.

Sweet man! Glad to see you got it up and running. What kind of temps do you think you will be able to get it to hold @ under load?

Good going. -35 @ 165w its nothing to be sniffed at and if you've reached it once then itll go there again.

Yeah most systems running straight r410a (which is way to high pressure for 120mm condenser) run around -38C evap load. -35C load @ 165 watts, and -31.5C load @ 190 watts is quite awesome. I love the unit and i think i need to get recutting on the window and then respray the panels somehow. The paint on the left n rights pretty bad, but the fronts fine. I also need to rehook up that controller and see if it will read the probe on the evap.

Okay update, trimmed the cap tube, picked up some double sided tape for the panels, and we'll see how that holds (Thats what they supply originally after all) and I've retuned. Currently holding -33C or so @ 165watts of heat and I'll let it run all night or so under these conditions. If not hotter loads.

Here's some updated pics, and I'm currently searching for one of the bars that holds on the panels. (one of them has seemed to run away.)

Yeah he's getting a good deal on this for sure. I've decided on a p5b deluxe and a batch of evaps probably if this goes thru nicely.

Sweetness NoL! You need to hook one of these baddies up to your rig and give us some overclock lovin' :p Or again, u could just send one down to me for some testing, you know, to make sure they work properly and provide good overclocking results ;) hehe

Haha once its finnaly tuned and such I'll be playing with it for a day or two I think on the old 550.

Any updates? Had a chance to hook it up to a CPU yet and bang out some clocks?

Hey Frag,

The buyer backed out when I asked for the deposit on the unit. Its tuned and Im going to find some time to repaint the aluminum (basic spray paint prbably) install the window then pop it on a cpu.

Probably the 550.

Wirelessly posted (LG Fusic: Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/2.0.4719/1378; en; U; ssr))
