I think we should be able to have animated avatars. Would make the forum a lot prettier too.

They sure do have size restrictions, but you can have an animated avatar. I believe the file size is 100 x 100 or 80kb whichever is the greater. Jim will correct me, if I'm wrong

And yes it should allow animated images, but you may need to upload them using the 'Browse' button rather than linking to them from another site.

cant upload any avatar, animated or nonanimated.

and none of them are bigger than the 150x150 pixel limit and 100kb size.
