xp cd key

after having some problems i decided to reinstall xp but cant find my booklet with the cd key on it,anyone know a way to search the disc for it?

OR would someone be willing to pm me a key just so i can install,then when i find my key i can change it over

The key isn't installed untill you enter it, its not on the disk.

Have you formatted yet? If not there are plenty of ways to get your key back.

If not, it might be on a sicker on your case.

Edit - I may be wrong on this, read some reviews just then and it says it finds the product key rather than the activation key. Don't know whether this is a bad thing though.
