Review of XigmaTek XLF-F1253 120mm fan
From Watercoolinguk.co.uk
£6.94 Excl. VAT (£7.98) Incl. VAT
Welcome to my first ever review!
The fan im reviewing is my new case fan from WatercoolingUK, it takes the form of the XigmaTek XLF-F1253 120mm 1500rpm.The fan sports orange blades & white led's. First impressions are good, with the fan arriving on Tuesday morning via royal mail first class recorded delivery. Lets take a look at the spec:
Higher airflow, static pressure and torque
67.5cfm airflow
Reduction for noise and power consumption
Additional output functions available
Lowest noise level
Longer life double ball bearing design
Optimized blade design for better performance
The packaging:
The packaging it arrived in was very well labeled, with the specification clearly laid out on the bottom front part of the packaging. Packaging itself was very good, with no dents or other forms of damage when received. Got to admit the fan looks really smart!

The contents:
The XigmaTek XLF-F1253 120mm came accompanied with 4 fan screws, 4 pin to 3 pin adapter and the 120mm orange and black fan with white leds.

The fan when installed:
As you can see, when installed on the front of my Antec300 case it looks really good and is quite quiet compared to my other asaka 120mm fans. Installation took seconds, but it is has really made a difference with the airflow inside my case with noticeable differences being the hard drive running 3*c lower than my original 120mm value fan.

The end result:
The end result is stunning with great looks and improved airflow. For £6.94 Excl. VAT (£7.98) Incl. VAT it really is good value for money. I would highly recommend this fan for any application, from case cooling to mounting on radiators.
