Was working fine before I installed the graphics cards drivers. Now I get a BSOD on startup. Sure its driver issues. It worked on windows drivers.

Am that frustrated am going to take the only seemingly working advise and install windows 7 (32bit)

but it will limit my RAM :(

Why on earth do AMD not know about this problem

Going mad 6 days sold and no solution. Its happened to many, but no solid solved solution?

Tried an older driver? It's working fine on my friend's 3770k and he has an older driver on it.

Also, don't make multiple threads.

We'd sooner he made his own thread than necro off the back of a 5 month old one. Anyway - I've deleted the identical post on the other thread.

Have you thought that it could be a fault with the card? I'd just return it if you can, and try and get a different model if they'll allow that. The XFX cards aren't considered very good these days anyway.

If it is still under warranty, I can't see a retailer declining an RMA if it isn't working on 64bit.

My bad. It looked like a new post to me as there had been no replies to it and it was identical to the other.

Yeah, xfx cards are crap but I'm not sure they'd be that bad.

OP, have you tried other pci slots?

I had an XFX 6850, brand new, decided after only two months of running it that it'd only work undervolted from then on. I don't even understand how that would work.

FML, and FXFX.

I have an xfx card, it's the only one in OC3D that seems to work with minimal issues . I didn't think they were that crap though :l. Although come to think of it the number of "my 7xxx xfx card is overheating" post on this forum should be a pointer...
