xfx gts250 bios

Hey hey everybody !

A month or two back I got an xfx gts250 1gb.

While the card runs fine, I've noticed something odd about it.

When the pc boots and the nvidia bios screen appears, it actually lists the card as a gtx250, something that as far as I am aware does not exist.

Is this just a minor typo, or is it perhaps because xfx have put a 3rd party bios on the card or something along those lines?

any answers would be greatly appreciated.

its a error as there is no gtx250,

if it was true there would be nothing to worry about as gtx's are faster than gt's, the marketing machine thinks the more x's there are the better it looks remember the x1950xtx i wonder if we will see a gtx380xxxxxxUltraxxxxx edition lol

Not atall beyond my abilities, I've flashed a couple of ATI cards for Ionicle before, I just found it amusing that my Bios read the model code for a none existant card is all.

Besides which, bios flashes are kinda simple these days :S
