Hi g folks does anyone know if the XFX 8600GT FATALITY GRAPHICS CARD WILL RUN OF A HIPER TYPE R 580 PSU MODULAR.

You could prob run another 8600GT off the Hiper 580W as well tbh.

Yeah, Works fine with a Hiper 580W Built one last week with a 8600GTS in .. no issues.

As other peeps have said before me you should be fine. I'm currently running a C2D and board, Raid array, CD/DVD burner, 8600GTS, Soundblaster Audigy and 4 x 120mm fans off a 500w PSU without it even breaking a sweat.

Using the page/link I posted it recommends a minumum 374W PSU to drive that hardware. That calculator has options for overclocking and water cooling, it's pretty detailed.
