Right chaps, need an idiot proof guide.

Running a Xbox but havnt got the wireless adaptor.

To save pulling my ethernet lead from PC to the Xbox ive tried to share the connection and linked to my PC.

Tried to follow all the ICS guides on the xbox help pages but getting nowhere.

Anyone able to do me an idiots guide??

Many thanks.

OS Vista 64

I do the same, instead of using ICS, Select both adapters, right click and create a bridge.

Should look like this:

Isn't it something like u need to enter IP details on the xbox, as opposed to dchp ? Gateway, mask, etc.

Maybe also the correct cat5 if ur going xbox->pc. (otherwize use a hub)

I used the ethernet that came with the 360 and I have no static IP's etc, just did what I said in my post and it worked fine, NAT is open etc...
