hey guys so im rocking x99 platform and im looking for some help towards cache overclocking maybe im doing it wrong but it seems to be working like this my current settings are

temps dont hit over 65c on average but highest temp on a single core goes in the region of 74c-81c

xmp 3000mhz
vcore 1.275v (can go down to 1.25 and will run but aida doesnt like it even tho real world apps dont bsod me at all)
bclk 125
multiplier 36
sys agent volt 1.01
LLC just at stock
Cache auto
cache voltage auto

What CPU?

What cooler?

Dont say "see my sig" because someone might find this thread in a years time looking for help and you could have changed your sig :p - you give us the details written out and we will give you some help.

Also how are you overclocking the cache if its on auto?

You understand you can see in the bios what the cache is at at stock right? You just select a high number after that to make it run faster.

It will help with memory a bit but youll need to get your hands dirty with dialing the volts in manually etc.

TBH you really need to have your CPU at stock with the volts dialed in tight, then work out how low you can get your cache volts with that running at a manually set stock speed and once you know that see how far you can push the cache with the stock speed cpu.

Once you know that its about finding the balance between a high CPU clock and then the cache clock.

I cant help anymore without screenshots and more info because its been ages since I really pushed one of your CPU's and boards
