should i run it longer than 20 loops?

when i tried vcore at 1.30-32 i got blue screen.

is it too hot?

and the nh-d14 is really cold i guess its a god thing? i cant tell if its transferring heat i put my hand around it and the little pipes felt warm. sorry i am new to cooling

the ram on the sticker says 9-9-9-24 1600mhz mushkin 3x4gb. im not sure how that works in clocking

input appreciated as always

Set your multi to 21, your bclk to 200. This will give you 4.2GHz. Change the Uncore to 17. Set the system memory multiplier to something to get the memory running at 1600 not 1050. You will probably have to set your memory voltage to ~1.65v. It will say on the stick what voltage for those timings/speeds.

4.2GHz is a good clock, but when everything else is running slower you are missing out on performance. Your temps look fine.

previously forgot to change memory timings to stock, it will definatly help with editing =). i think the current overclock i have is fine for me and overtime i will look at what the other settings mean just to optimize performance.

thanks again =)

is it safe to turn back on the "advance cpu core features? ( currently all off apart from hyper threading)" so it will run slower than 4.2 when im not on the pc as i leave it on 24/7. thanks :x

You mean speedstep right? its better to leave it off for overclocking at least most of the time,

what is you're rig doing when you are not at home ?

yeah my current settings in that section look like this

currently while im at work i ftp files back and forth.

20 runs of LinX with a problem size around 25000 will test stability a little better. You're looking for about an hour of stress testing.
