Hi people, i been reading you can/you can't boot from an M.2 on x58 is this true or is it possible?

I have read that one of samsung drives has a legacy mode that enables it tp boot but i have no idea, can anyone help ?

Thank Adam.

You can't, because you don't have UEFI BIOS.
You can boot 950 Pro only NVMe drive without issues.

You can bypass UEFI only limitation by using 3-rd party booting software (Duet, or Clover).

I've had good success with Clover on a laptop. It's the only way I could boot off an aftermarket NVMe. Stupid ASUS.
