X300 Release

I know this is a total long shot but does anyone know anything about the X300 chipset AMD are launching for SFF?

I think it's why we don't have a lot of ITX boards for Ryzen yet but it feels like they've announced ThreadRipper, Ryzen Pro and Epyc and forgot about this entirely

No idea, haven't heard anything about that chipset in ages.

I imagine that they will be released with Ryzen 3.

That's what I'm thinking, wondered because I was discussing with a friend about the lack of X370 mATX and ITX as a whole and thought that all of that might be being saved for X300 as AMD said it will support CrossFire but ITX boards don't have dual PCIe slots for it.

The guy I know in Taiwan who works for Asus said that Asus were very wary of making X370 ITX boards with no HDMI. He said they would probably get most of them back as faulty, as every one who had used Intel for the last 7 years or so would expect it to output HDMI with no graphics card.

And it kinda makes sense too.

I reckon once the APUs hit you will be flooded with boards.
