ok guys i was playing some music and wanted to switch to another track but suddenly my pc crashed with a large peep coming out of my Z-5500's then it bluescreened and i letted it reboot but while i was in windows 7 on desktop i noticed i had no sound at all i kinda tryed everything to make it work again but it didnt maked any progress

maybe u guys know something about this

Have you

removed the card?

reinstalled drivers?

tried another slot?

tried resetting the bios?

tried in another computer (the card)?

As Youngie said try the above as this will give you and indication of where the problem lies, Win7 seems to have a bit of an issue of overwriting working drivers with non working ones.

I have an issue with Win7 that every time i plug in my USB stick in it BSOD my machine, even thou if I reboot it reads the stick perfectly problem. Hopefully your problem is similar as just a new o/s teething problem!

well i turned off my pc and pushed the card in the slot more i thought maybe it would work and guessed what when i was back in windows 7 i noticed sound was coming out of my speakers so its working again ;D
