x-fi gamer problems in css

just installed my new x-fi gamer and i am having problems in cs:s the weapon animations are doubling and also i get a faint echo as well, is this a glitch with css as i have had no problems in any other games

Really wild shot in the dark for an easy answer - check eax settings outside of the game (from desktop). Even if it looks like no effects are selected, select one then de-select it.

Easy answer with any luck.

I was getting double footstep sounds on cs:s a while ago which seemed to go away as soon as I changed my rates

I think that was on my sblive usb

glitch with CSS i think mate. go into options while ingame and change to 4 speakers / 5.1 / 7.1 and then back and it should go. or is it happening constantly?
