Would you believe me if I told you this is an iPhone game?

Well it is!! If you have an iPhone 4 or 4S or the latest gen iPod or any of the iPads download it for FREE! Go to your market at search "Epic Citadel."

I think it would be possible on the S2, because the processor is built by Samsung isn't it? But yeah, the resolution can't be matched.

It's more of an OS issue rather than a hardware issue. did you ever wonder why Android phones have such massive hardware and yet the best looking game is still no match for even most of the simple iphone ones? From what I have been able to find Ridge Racer 6 is the best looking game on android I have seen (post another if you have one) but even that can't come close to ridge racer 6 on iphone and iPhone has a few other racing games that blow ridge racer out of the water.

I'd say Nova looks pretty good. I think it's also because most Android apps are free and developers are wary of this and decide not to release their content to Android. I would happily pay for good looking games but there are many who wouldn't want to.

Edit: Samurai II looks pretty badass too

It's annoying because my S2 with its large screen is deprived. I just understand the whole "dual core" thing on android? WTF is it being used for? The main reason Apple put dual core in iphone 4 was because of the gaming community.

Your making it out to be that the screen is really bad when it isn't by most standards. To me the Ridge Racer 6 and Real Racing graphics don't look that much different, when talking about the cars. The aliasing is the same, the lighting effects look similar, the only real difference is the background, where the iPhone really shines.

No I gave a compliment to the S2 for the screen, not a bash. Also you have to look at the little things. Look at the rims of the cars in both games also I dont think ridge racer has a cockpit view, while Real Racing has a full lush cockpit view.

I haven't played Ridge Racer, but I'll check it out and come back to you

. But I do agree that Android is behind Apple in terms of overall Graphics.

EDIT: Nice blog by the way

Definitely some meaty iOS games about, and more coming through especially with the windows game conversion stuff. Be a real chore for me to play them on a 3.5 screen no matter what the resolution, and be plugged into the power source too.

I'd stick with the S2 tbh, it's a phone and most importantly girly pics look nicer on it's bigger screen anywho.

Nothing against the iPhone(s) and the way they do things. There's a credible market for them. I just feel so confined with the nerdy geek things I'd want to do with them. Htc's come up trumps on my last few phones, and they weren't all Android.

Each to their own.

Yea playing on a 3.5 inch screen can be a problem for most, which is why I play most on my iPad 2

also Real Racing 2 can completely drain me battery from 100% to 0% in less than 45 minutes. But it's not like it was not expected.

Completely forgot about epic citadel. It's not much of a game though, more of a tech demo. Everything is rendered in real time and you can move around, but there's no game to play, just a place to explore. Or have they added to it?
