Microsofts New OS is looking to be chalked in for release this Christmas time..

The all-dancing, all-singing OS is going to be MS's flagship for the next few years to come and MS seem to be keen to get it out and competing with OSX ASAP:

Windows Vista, formerly Longorn, is due to hit in the Holiday season next year, according to a quote attributed to Microsoft senior VP Will Poole.

I sense another buggy release coming up...wonder how much they'll charge for it this time? £300? £400?

Well I'll still be waiting for this for a bit - wait for all the bugs to be sorted....and to get maaa new SATA drive ;)

Hope MS can sort it out and give us customers a decent price? Doubt it tho

if its ready by that time than it is good for MS but they shouldn't release it before because it would be another crappy OS which aint good

Ill 'acquire' it and give it a go .. it will probably be slow and buggy till SP1

Ill mostlikley continue on with a XP/Serv2003 for gaming but with the extra longhorn components that are gonna be released for it
