Well windows update says there's nothing, its failed 3 times in the history log, Ive got a 2.64gb file in the windows update download folder and $Windows.~BT is 140mb..... no idea what's going on here

I think i have download Windows 10 there is a folder called $Windows.~BT and the size of it is 4.87GB so maybe check your C drive to see if it there but i didn't even get a message saying it was download.

MS are doing staggered releases so the world doesnt break their download and update servers.
I have resorted to using the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool.

Apparently you have to do a upgrade of your pc, before you can do a fresh install as otherwise it will not accept your Windows 7,8 or 8.1 keys to activate Windows 10.
Have already made a iso and made a USB installer but just currently backing up a few things, and then I am going to do a upgrade on my ITX rig and then try a full install after that.

Don't know about nvidia stuff, but Corsair Link throws up some interesting stuff.

I am having a nightmare trying to get mine activated, both pc's will not activate and microsoft support are being useless, even the phone activation will not work.

I am now on Windows 8.1 on one pc, with it fully activated and now downloading 132 updates.

How long did it take to boot to windows after the upgrade was completed?? It's been stuck on loading screen for 20mins now

So upgraded both pc's now to Windows 10.
M-ITX Lan/Media Server rig has Windows 10 Home
Main Gaming PC has Windows 10 Pro so happy about that.
Just doing a back up now of my main pc as that is the only one with a DVD drive in it, and then I am going to try a clean install using the Windows 10 Pro ISO that I am creating at the moment, need the DVD for certain things and also Acronis so lucky it's still in there.
If it doesn't work with either the Windows 8 Pro key or the one that I have got from Magic Jelly Bean then I don't, know how I am going to be able to do a clean install in the future when I need to.
