windows xp x64?????? alredy?!!!!!!

well they have as many windows generic drivers as they could be bothered to make in the time given, but just ask Austin about getting sound drivers, he was soundless :)

Ok guys this isn't the true release version. It is an unlimited non-trial version but it's not the final product. The current release is RC1 and can either be downloaded from microsoft.com w/ a trial 180 day limit or u can spend like $150 and get it w/o the trial limit (like the link above).

The next version will be RC2, usually the last revision before it goes final retail.

This also isn't a Longhorn pre-release. Longhorn is a completely different OS, this is regular old XP w/ a 64-bit friendly software architecture.

y do they release crappy trial versions??? thats pointless, y dont they just release them when the full retail version is avaldable???

thay release trial s for 2things

to tell people about itt and they get to know how it is for free

2 to know how it works for home use like a beta

hey i have it instaleeed so i need to reformat wen the 180 days are expired?

yeah i would have tried it myself because i've got a 64bit cpu.. but only on my main rig which i dont wanna touch.. im looking to upgrade to faster hdd's so i might try it out then, but if they dont have proper drivers for it yet.. then i might hold off for a while maybe after the new year
