I totally agree with 'hmmblah' no reason to upgrade if you already have 7 but a new machine totally windows 8.
The allocation of support team members to every new o/s that gets released in insane. Meanwhile to fix new bugs etc in the previous o/s has to get handled by a skeleton crew.
Modified windows 8 is really nice to use. I have windows 8 on my laptop and although having to stuff around adding the start button and the like its pretty good.
Windows 8 is very efficient as well. On old machines Windows 8 runs amazingly well. Getting close to Linux in that respect.
SP1 Win 8 should be very interesting. In which they are adding in the start button etc.
