Windows 7 Repair / System Restore error.

So I had an issue with one of my drivers crashing my system after I updated my AV.

So I plopped in my W7 USB stick, went to System repair, and went to try to fix startup erors - got some memory failure thing....no idea why. Tried to then use the System Restore, it found the restore dates, but I got the same error.

Any idea why this would happen? I don't want to format - I will if I have to, but I do not want to...

So you cannot get into the OS? Have you tried getting into Safe Mode? If Safe Mode does not work, this is more than just a "driver" problem.

Get into repair with console and run (sfc /scannow) see if that does anything.
