Hey gents,

Just a quick question..... I'm thinking about upgrading from 8.1 64bit to which ever version of 10 available.
So if I upgrade to Windows 10 would I lose all my program's and files etc on C drive aka like a fresh install?

Not if you Upgrade matey its only if you do a fresh install from usb/DVD you will lose all your files etc :)

As long as you're going from 32 bit to 32 bit, or 64 bit to 64 bit, as part of the upgrade installation you get to choose what you keep - all programmes and files, personal files only, or nothing at all.

Oh okay cheers guys, is there anyway to roll back if I don't like it? My mate installed the OS for me and it's 64bit 8.1.

It does have a rollback feature, which users have reported a lot of success in using.

I haven't used it myself though.

If you like 8.1, you'll like 10. It's a natural progression and brings back the dektop everyone misses, with the tiles now on the start menu. Much nicer. Google how to enable the dark theme too, looks well nice!
