Window nets...

Can anybody think of an alternative and readily available product to this:

Its a racing car window net. I'm looking for something similar for Project General Li.

What gauge material? I guess the car stuff is about 1" wide... No idea how big either...

This isn't right BUT of you got black rope you could construct your own...
