Win7 Ultimate on SSD???

Ok have never tried this before, so here is my question. What is the best way to install an SSD drive in my system and not wipe all my other HDs clean?

I have 2TB total hd space with lots of games and apps already installed on them(2- 500GB drives set as raid 0 with OS installed there and 1TB drive additional). I understand the part of clean install of win7 ult on new ssd, but how can I do it where all drives work together so that file paths are not lost?

I hope what I am asking here makes sense.

i would turn off my pc plug in the ssd set it in bios to be the first drive detected then install windows on it then set it to be the first drive that boots so then it will be the first copy of windows detected then once in windows the other drives should just show up as storage and the ssd as your c drive then you can delete windows files off your old drives keeping all other data on them . T his is just what i would do there might be a better or faster way but i dont know about it but if there is and someone else knows then looks like we will both learn something new

also i think there is some software where you can clone your windows install to your ssd but i dont know the name of it. if it was me tho i would just do a nice fresh new install then updateit all will prob work faster and less problems imho

just seen the file paths lol once all installed on ssd you will need to change paths on the windows ssd to a hd of your choice ie mypictures/c:or d: etc

fragg ya need to edit your posts not make more unless someone posts after ya. 3 posts in same thread in 7 minutes lol I would advise against cloning as sometimes it re-aligns the blocks from their optimal size of 1024 to something way different.

Doing what ya want isnt easy but it can be done takes patience and time. i would recommend just doing a full re install and be done with it alot faster and less headaches if something goes wrong.
