If I won First Prize, I would ask the guy who won Third to switch with me and if I won Third myself, I'd build it into the new rig. If I won Second, I'd probably ask Tom to give the prize to someone else, because I have no use for an i5

If I won first or second price, I'd run it in a rig with intergrated graphics in the beginning, if I won third price, not too sure. Money isn't plentyful atm and my PC just died :/

Hallo and thank you!! Been here a few days after the comp opened, and i've been lurking the forums since then.
Gotta say this place feels cozy, so don't be surprised if you see me posting once or twice around here
Keeping track with that last question posed:
Were i to win first prize, i'd first shit my pants accordingly (biggest win i got was a Corsair AX760 on a FB competition), then i'd most likely get myself a long overdue new case and an SSD, use the 4770k as the main video editing/photoshop setup, and have my 3570k as the gaming computer. Either that, or outright sell my current setup and get something along the lines of a Radeon 7970 or better.
Second prize, shit myself accordingly once again, and most likely the same case as with the previous one.
Third prize, i'd shit myself, sell the 3570k and G1.Sniper M3, sell the I5 2500 i gave to my brother if he will ultimately not use it (it's sitting right in front of me in its box -he just needs to get some ram sticks-), and get myself a nice, high end z87 mobo, hopefully it'll be enough for an SSD to throw in as well.

If I won 1st or 2nd, I'd swap out my (not so) trusty i7 950 and mobo and get some new memory and basically I'd have a new rig. If I won 3rd price, I'd probably do the same thing but I would have to get a new mobo also. TBF I prefer the 3rd price as The G1 sniper would look awefully out of place in a blue based rig.

If I won first prize, I'd ask the second prize winner to swap boards. I know it's worth like half the money but I want to build a small form factor rig and I'm heavily against selling competition prizes!
If I won second, I'd find someone that is willing to swap a 4770k for the 4670k and I would have to give them some money too, but that's okay. Would still save me a lot
If I won third prize, I'd probably get the G1 Sniper M5 or the Z87n-WiFi and build myself a nice little 350D/ Prodigy rig

They've tried so hard to keep the original proportions that they completely messed up the inside.
It's not even a revolutionary design, it's just "We'll just have to put that here, cause otherwise it won't fit". Honestly, I'm kind of disappointed with how the thing is look so far.

I am currently dreaming of building a rig in the corsair carbide air 540, so if i was lucky enough to win either of these wonderfull prizes, i would probably work on realising that dream. I already have a few of the components, such as a suitable power supply, memory, ssd and storage. So any of these prizes would go a long way towards realizing that project.
You can't really complain about the wait as it's free stuff.
The timing could maybe be a bit better as the competition closed in the middle of summer when everything usually comes to a grinding halt or moves in slow-motion but that's summer.
I find the suspense a bit nice actually. I still get a bit of butterfly's in my stomach every time a check the thread. Much better the when the winners are announced and it's not my name and I'll miss that feeling of hope that it could still be me getting that awesome hardware.
