I know what tom had to put up with ive been there myself
I wouldent wish that on someone I hate

Happy to see and hear you are on the mend dude. I hope you fully recover soon and come out stronger than before, keep doing what you do. Genuinely an awesome man!

Any updates on the winners?

Winners will be notified via PM so they could of been notified already and they do not have to post here if they don't want to.

If Tom decides the winners should be named then you'll see it here on the thread and original post.

Just sit back, relax. If you win you'll be notified.
What is the rush?

Glad TTL is back on his feet, looks like i49 was amazing.
The competition can wait, people need to understand that it is a free give away. Not like you bought a raffle ticket.

i cant wait for this to be done. not cos im is chomping at the bit to find i can win. but so this stupid thread full of 1 post wonders disappears for another couple of months

Some are actually staying. And everyone has an equal chance.^_^

im well aware that some will stay. some from the last compo have been real ace contributors to the community. but 100000+ views, 1500+ replies a lot of people only have posts in here alone. maybe 1 or 2 in the introduce yourself section.

In my opinion, that is expected with a competition like this. Would be nice if everyone that participated stays and gets involved with the community, but this is an imperfect world. If you wave free stuff at a crowd, they will pile up in masses for it because everyone likes free stuff, especially PC hardware. But when the lights go out and the main attraction is over, people go home. The victory is the ones that do stay behind and get involved. No matter how insignificant the numbers may seem, the community grows and benefits from that growth.

I guess I could have been called a "one post wonder" at one time. I came on and won when I was new. I view Tom's videos, but didn't know there was a forum until he mentioned a contest. You can see by my post count I'm no longer a newbie. That with my being fairly scarce for about 4 months, having found out my oldest brother had terminal cancer and was going downhill and died in June, then I was running my sister to Chicago to the University of Chicago Hospital in July and August many times, had my own health problems as well where I had a stay overnight as my 88 year old mom did two days before I did, pet problems having one in the pet emergency vet in the early AM and again at the vet a few days later and that day my car died for good last week and finally my mom had surgery last Friday.

I hope my post count and frequency mets the whiners parameters as to who might win. If not...

Okay, got it out, things having not been good for months I get touchy, it is amazing what folks will whine about when life can be so short and you never know when your number is going to come up. Wait, now I'm whining! :D

hey fred i was thinking of you as the prime example of a great contributor. jan joined win part of a rig, tom builds full rig, you recieve rig and 600 posts later thats awesome going man. and sorry to hear about your family. and kope i know it comes with the comp that there will be new people but its went on so long with the i wonder when they are going to announce the winners. did they announce winers posts. if i dont win im not bothered in the slightest, life goes on but hope that whoever does/has won enjoys the system and will let us know how they get on.
