I missed a message about the sore throat Tom has. Know a couple folks having had that surgery as adults, they took many times what it took their kids to recover. At 4 I was fine in two days.

One thing a retired doctor friend just told me...he said the adults he treated for it were worse because they tried treating it themselves too long, where a parent gets their kid to a doctor sooner, so they are not as bad usually.

Part of my problem now may be a back problem, not circulation like I thought. Last SUnday I was sitting on a concrete floor socializing shelter cat and my legs fell asleep. That is not rare, but what was scary is it took three days for me to get all the feeling back this time, not just minutes like any other time. I'm also having my blood sugar spike too high on me. Even taking more insulin is not stopping it. I'm being referred to a diabetic diet specialist first. Then I may end up going to a diabetic specialist in treating it. Losing more weight would help tremendously.
