well I am looking for a place to call home, this seems like a pretty nice place.

We try and be as friendly of a bunch as possible, we're really not like any other forums on the net right now which seem to be plagued with arguments and flame wars, etc. Everyone here gets along mighty fine I would say, we've got a tight group.

Yea, Frag's right. OC3D forum community reminds me of those old towns where you could leave your car doors unlocked because you trust everyone here. We all help each other and can all trust each other to give an honest opinion. We all know each other and get a long well without conforming to one opinion. This is a very good community, and I would like to welcome you to it! :)

wow, wat a great contest.. count in me brothers and sisters.. good luck everyone

have a nice day

I've got a question

I forgot to put this in my email that I sent to enter the competition

"I hereby certify that the information I have provided above is correct, and that this is my only entry into the current Overclock3D competition."

I'm sorry I forgot to add that part. Will I be disqualified?:(

Only if we're really mean (which we're not).

If you do win, we'll just ask you on the day ;)

I could do with a new PSU, this 580W isn't cutting it anymore

*crosses fingers*

good luck everyone :wavey:

Willl 780W run a 8800GTX sli setup???

Give me a 8800GTX SLi Kit and I can check it for ya...:D ;)

Now seriously, I think it should work, but you should have at least 20A on each 12V rail, and you should have at least two rails...But, if it's a 780W PSU, I'm pretty sure it already has (at least) two 12V tails with (at least) 20A each...

Its got 4 rails @ 18a each.

I guess it'll be OK, as long as you plan on installing a single card and NOT SLi!

Becasue, I think that one 12V rail can "lend" ampers from other rails, so you can actually have more than 18A on one rail, as long as the the other rails are not using the whole aperage...

If you DO get an answer, please let me know, as I'm interested to know as well, as my current Mushkin 650W also has 4 rails of 20A each.

GOOD LUCK!!! ;)

Te PSU up for grabs could definately run SLI. Of 8800GTX's probably.
