I have 2 asus hd 7870 v2 cards (but didn't know they were v2, it is not in big letters on the box but in the small print near the serial) and got 2 ek-fc7870 blocks to cool them only to discover they dont fit (me very grumpy) after searching hard on the net i can not find anyone who has solve this issue other than going for a universal block but in the visual comparasions it looks like the fc7850 will fit, thier images look oh so similar;

Once bitten twice shy does anyone here know or have at least proper reference images to check this, because these images are not at the same angle i cant be sure, any help would be appreciated

according to EK's cooling configurator site it doesn't fit, the only option they have for it is a universal Gpu block

Hey!
Usually the rule of thumb for blocks is that they are made for reference cards and will not fit a card with an aftermarket PCB, unless specified by the manufacturer.
If you have the DirectCUII model, then you are stuck.

Hope that helps.
