Will my graphics card be able to handle this monitor?

Im in the market for a widescreen lcd and before i buy it i want to know if my graphics card will be able to handle it with gaming. Im running a Leadtek PX6600GT TDH Geforce 6600GT 128MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card. (lol i was on a budget, hopefully upgrade soon =])

and i will be running a 19" widescreen most likely on 1440x900 res.

For now i mostly play cs:s but i will also be playing other games sooner or later like UT 07. Will my graphics card be able to handle the widscreen and resolution?

dont expect to use aa and af or all eyecandy on but work should do for most games out there.

I would have thought a 6600GT would run very capably on medium settings.

Yep, that's the 17-19" widescreen res. And yes, based on what everyone has said in previous posts i would think the 6600GT would run things fairly nicely.

i had a 6600gt beore my current card, i tried it out on my friends 19" LCD and i was able to do medium or so settings and it was very playable, ran great, you should be fine.

I'm running a 6600GT which gets fine framerates for CS:S t 1680X1050, 50-100 fps with no AA or AF, can get about 40 average with a bit of an OC and 2xAA 2xAF at that res.
