will i find better than Dell UltraSharp U2713HM

how do u no do u have sli or a 670 with a ips

hazro 27 inch ips 2560x1440
started with one 670 got a second cos i wanted to not because i needed too
the 670 worked fine. i had a 560ti 2gb before that that worked really good too so a 670 is dead on. i wouldnt say that i testify unless i do

What are you supposed to do? Take it into consideration just like all the other advice people have given you.

What i said was pretty clear dude. What res do you want? 1440p or 1600p? Ok then out of the list you posted pick the cheapest one. Not much difference with any of them. Same thing with 1080p. With 1080p you won't need to upgrade the gpu.

ok so if i go for the dell 27 inch will i gert a diffrence in what it looks like and fps will be less than a 24

Don't double post please. (tidied) Also better english is always welcome ;)

If you want 'best for gaming' you should be looking at a fast TN 120Hz panel and stop obsessing over IPS. Yes the colour repro is better, but for gaming TN's are still the fastest/least ghosting etc.

The BENQ series (of which the serial numbers escape me just now) are what you should be looking at if you're going for money is no object FPS gaming.

Work on your grammar dude. It's hard to catch what you're trying to say. If English isn't your first language then try using google translator...

Monitor size has nothing to do with FPS. It's the res that makes the impact.

Benq 120hz screen is made for gaming.. xlt series are great, u shud check them out and im sure the screen will furfill ur wishes!

Anything below 10ms response time is fine for gaming. If you really want monitor speed then a 1080p IPS panel can max out at 5ms response time. 1440p is slower naturally. A TN display is where gaming is at. The colors and angles are shit though.
Very much depends on the games you play duder. If you're an FPS player you will notice a significant difference (the difference between 60 and 120 Hz is even more blatant, but that's another story entirely). Well, I very much doubt anyone would play FPS games in 1440p anyway cause it massively decreases fps.

@ OP: If you play a lot of BF3, don't go for any Dell monitor. They're aimed at photography and creative work. I would advise you to run BF3 in 1080p on low settings to achieve maximum fps.

BF3 is fine on an IPS, and is fine on full settings, It plays better and you get a much better experience with it on ultra which his system should handle just fine.

Bf3 isn't a twitch shooter the mechanics don't really require you to have millions of fps to play effectively.

No offence but you won't really notice. 10ms is faster than any reflex humanly possible. You can fee a difference but not notice one. 60hz vs 120hz is different. Everything looks smoother and feels smoother. But the input lag doesn't make it any faster and don't forget the time it takes for the keyboad or to be registered along with your personal reflex. IPS carries more pros than a TN "super speed" panel. Sure it's faster but everything looks like shit so what's the point of having it move so fast but you can not distinguish differences between objects?
My personal opinion but take it how you want.

Well, if you're just a casual gamer who plays a few rounds of CoD every now and then, it won't really matter. However, if you play well over 500h of BF3 for instance, you will most definitely notice the difference between 1ms and 8ms, or feel it rather since humans can only notice a difference greater than 30ms. Yes, contrast and colour reproduction are better on IPS panels, but then again, it's not really relevant for gaming unless you're playing slow-paced games exclusively. Responsiveness is the only thing gamers need to look for in a monitor.

Frankly it makes no sense to use a photography monitor for gaming. BenQ and ASUS monitors are tailored towards gaming, go with one of them and you'll be fine.

Oh nice, i didn't know about the benq ips.. might pick one of them up.. or like.. 3

^That is the one Linus did a video on IIRC, wasn't sure which one Chris meant. The Acer monitor is 23 inches though. Both are very interesting products but to be fair they have not been properly tested by anyone at all and have been somewhat overlooked.

I'm more insterested in 1920x1200 than 1080p (once you have those extra pixels it's difficult to go back)

I'd have to disagree with you there. I've played over 700 hours of BF3 on my Dell IPS and have had no problems at all with ghosting or input lag. Having said that, the experiences may be different for other people.

P.S. I agree with SuB about the extra 120 pixels.
