Wife's AMD Rig - Cleaning with Pictures

I wasn't sure if this was the right place or the Air Cooling Section, as it kinda fits in both, apologies if this is wrong all together and belongs somewhere else :)

Over the last 2 weeks the usage on this rig doesn't really change, web browsing and browser games. Yet gradually the CPU temps climbed from 40c upto 46c (over the course of the fortnight, I know it still within safe ranges but still)...

I knew that it needed cleaning from dust but didn't realize just how much

Anyway, a few before an after shots

Dust can have a big impact indeed. Although it's far more of a problem in a laptop than a desktop given the limited airflow.

What CPU is it? and how loud do you find that fan out of interest?

I found the one that came with my A4-5300 too loud for the HTPC I have it in.

CPU is the Phenom II x4 960T and providing I give it a halfway decent cooler (Hyper 212 evo) I can get it to 4.0ghz (x4) and 3.9ghz (x6) quite easily...

The stock cooler @ stock settings is quiet enough to not be a pain, but whereas in most cases the GPU drowns out all other noise in this case its my old 140mm Stock exhaust fan combined with the AMD stock fan, makes it pretty audible.
