Has Steam taken over Nvidia??? ´Cause the last update (77.?? from about the 20th of june) fucked it all up. I have a Geforce 5700LE and after i did the update, the colour in my movies were completely crappy. Brighter than the stuff that comes out of a seagulls ass. Think it´s poo but i´m not sure. Well anyway, that update SUXX. I don´t hope they are beginning to fuck us up with the updates just like Steam (Send To Earth to Angry Mankind). So uninstalled the "fantastic" driver and installed the old one. Be careful with the update, you´ll go nuts (more than a monkey in heat) if it does the same with ur graphics.

prob nvidia neglecting the older cards and focusing more on the new ones. u thought of an upgrade?

Seriously it will work. I was having the exact same perblem and this solved it. Try the 77.50 drivers...they don't have the issue :D

it´s not that old

Hey, that card isn´t that old.. Wait... Is that dust???

I know i should upgrade, but it´s pretty pricey in Denmark.

Tried color correction etc. but it didn´t work. It wasn´t just bright... hard to explain...

Did you change to colour correction to 'advanced mode' and then 'apply' - there is a guide somewhere on here to fix that i think.

that's for videos i don't think it has anything to do with CSS

Mate, the best drivers for older cards are the 66.91's, me and PV5150 have found.

They can be found on nVidia's site under Driver Archives. :)

The 77.50's are pretty damn good and in some cases have been seen as better than the 66.91's :D

Tnx guys

Really, didn´t know the 66.91 driver was the best one for the older cards. Gotta download that thing again :) i was thinking about buying a Nvidia Geforce 6600Ultra.. Do u guys know if its worth its money? or wich videocard do u think i should buy?? I mostly play games like Cs, Gta San Andreas and so on....

6600GT. No ultra's :).

6600GT's are a VERY good value. Great cards. They will play any game of today and tomorrow just fine.

Too many headshots in cs lol :D i meant a 6000Gt of course :D Okay, i just checked the price on that videocard, and it´s about 150£ here in Denmark, so now i know what i´m gonna spend my money on next month :p Something Particular i should look for when buying that Card?? Special types of Ram or something like that?? Tnx for the help so far guys. U rock :worship:

really u mean 6600gt dont u? u wil get it right eventually.

things to look for would be to make it exactly the saem as your current one. i mean exactly. this isnt necessary as it used to be but still helps performance.
