I know it has been requested to get that little new threads feed back, but the fact that you shrinked the forum to place a giant add, and still not moving the adds below the feed is mind boggling.

How many people use that page anymore anyway? I know I don't. The vast majority of my time is spent on the 'New Posts' page.

I use the New Post button myself. I do get annoyed with the ads but it keeps the lights on in the joint so I'm OK with them. Bandwidth ain't free. ;)

One question tho, have you guys ever thought about offering a paid option for membership? $35 for a year or something like that and you get less ads, custom user title and stuff like that. I've only been here about a week but really like the place and I'd be up for shelling out some cash for an "upgraded" membership.

lol, I think that's a little extreme....

We're a community, not an exploitable cash factory.

Plus that's just open to abuse. You'd need more of a return for your money than a custom user title.

All that will do is cause some donors to act better than the rest like they are some sort of deity to be worshiped.

Doesn't usually. I'm on a few forums that offer paid memberships and have actually paid up on 2 of them cause I like them and wanted to contribute a little. I don't see anybody acting or treating anybody different. You're still bound by the rules with a paid membership.

Anyways, just an idea I was throwing it out there. :)
