White Shinobi Build Log FM2

I think the BitFenix Shinobi White Edition looks to phrase Tom "the dogs danglies" so gonna be throwing my current system in there.

Cheers dude! yeah when I ordered it I heard that some were an off colour but from I could see it looks exactly the same colour. When did you buy that cover?

It might of been the light that mine was in that I thought it looks ok I will double check tomorrow. My mate has got the the black shinobi and has the same problem as you it's just like a shade lighter than the black on the case. If mine is a different when I check it tomorrow it will really piss me off :/ haha

Every time I'm browsing in a computer store I'm always impressed with how good and solid the bitfenix cases feel. I like that rubber texture they use on some of the cases too.

Do you have any updates/updated pictures planned for this?

Yeah I've always loved the look of them and white one is just epic! and not really dude having problems with some parts the retailer shipped out 2 of the Spectre's are faulty as well as waiting on a RMA of my PSU.

So this is where I have left it. Most probably getting some new parts for Christmas, so expect an update around that time.

So my 775 gear decided to die on me a couple of weeks back, good job really because it was old as F***!. Only trouble was I wasn't that flush for money at that point and only had around 140 quid to get myself a new CPU and Mobo. I wasn't going to go AM3/+ but had to go AMD because of the money issue. I picked an FM2 Athlon X4 740 Quad CPU and a Gigabyte F2A85X-D3H Micro-ATX board and it set me back around 130 odd quid which is not to bad for a Quad Core CPU and a pretty high-end FM2 board and I already had 4GB of OCZ Gold series lying around from another system I built from some one, so I didn't have to buy that.

So, Now my system is;

White BitFenix Shinobi
AMD Athlon X4 740 FM2 CPU
Gigabyte F2A85X-D3H Motherboard
Sapphire 5850 2GB Vapor-X
4GB OCZ Gold Series

I recently did some graphic work for Aqua Tuning's YouTube channel and they sent me 2 of the Phobya G-Silent 14's which are awesome! to me anyway! but now wants to make me change out the Spectre's even more.

I originally put my old Hyper 212 Evo on the chip because I didn't think the D14 would clear the graphics card. But today I tried to put the Noctua NH-D14 on it and it just fits!

Looks closer than it is, but even if the clips touch the card it wont short it out because of the backplate on the 5850.

My original scores with the Core 2 system were - 5.8 - 5.8 - 7.8 - 7.8 - 5.9 now I get these which is not that bad for 130ish quid hahaha

I'm not really bothered about the air flow in my case haha, I just have them in there because they were free and look fecking awesome!
