Heya guys!

So my build, the White Lotus, is finally pretty much finished. The build log has been running since May 2014 and has since accumulated well over 24,000 (!!!!) views. It was also my first PC project for which I got a sponsor, thanks Corsair :D

There are still some minor things that I want to change, like black USB 3 ports at the front and deciding what I want for the front dust filter that no one ever gets to see anyway, but none of these have any priority. The build is as good as finished and I thought it was time for a rig gallery!

Specifications:
Intel Xeon E3 1230 V3
Gigabyte Z87n-WiFi
Corsair H60 2013 Edition
EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX 3GB
Corsair 2x8GB Vengeance Pro 1866 Mhz

Corsair RM 650

2x Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
Crucial MX100 256GB

Bitfenix Phenom
Bitfenix Spectre Pro 230mm
Bitfenix Spectro Pro 120mm PWM

I've said it before and I say it again, White Lotus is a superb little rig and your attention to the fine details have paid off.

Kudos to you Feronix.

Really nice build there Feronix but might I suggest some cable combs ;) but it is a really sweet looking rig
this build has given me ideas seeing as I have a white enthoo Pro screaming at me gimme hardware
Kudos matey :)

dude...this looks so good

Its like Ultra White

...But seriously, you've done really well with this, just the small things like covering the serial numbers and sticker for the PSU really make a massive difference!

I gotta agree with Wraith here dude, it's just an superb and beautiful little rig you've got and made for yourself. And your attention to the fine details are showing off as well.

And I'm not a fan of white at all, but your GPU is really giving me sex to the eyes dude.

Really loving what you did to the graphics card, amazing work and in my eyes, up there with the top modders! :)

Kudos to you Feronix mate, well done! :)

Thank you very much mate!

I did consider cable combs, but most cables have lacing on them so the only one that would really benefit from this would be the 24 pin, which is tucked away nicely now as making it wider would take up too much space in this tiny rig.

Definitely do it dude! You don't need white hardware, you make it white! That's also the only way to make sure that all your whites match. This rig uses 2 different white tones as I think it'd make it look just that bit more interested, but if everything was a different, non-matching white it'd just look silly. Even respray white components with your own white paint

Also, be sure to leave some black in!

Makes me wonder why EVGA never release a White GPU

Looks great. EVGA really need to release a white GPU.

Aye, we need more white GPUs on the market, but it's also really easy to make it white yourself. Just a shame it usually voids your warranty.

Yeah, it's whiter than my face, which says a lot cause I haven't seen the sun while I was working on this project since May 2014

Thanks dude!

Not so sure about the top modders comment, but I'm really happy that everyone seems to like this build so much. Since I don't have a bottomless pit of money or a vast array of tools to throw at mods, I really wanted to show people that creativity can go a long way to build a semi-pretty rig, and show exactly how I did it in the build log, which is a format that people seem to really like :)

Really nice little build you got there Feronix it even looks crisp kudos mate

Love white builds, and this is no exception :D

Thank you guys very much! :D

Don't sell your self short, bad modders blame their tools, top modders innovate and get seriously creative and crack on which is precisely what you've done and in doing so achieved a perfect build. Kudos

I have to agree with this statement whole heartedly

Sadly that's not how it actually works though.

Modding is all about money if you want to make a name for yourself. Sure, you need to have ideas but trust me when I say to have those great ideas you need great money.

I used to mod PCs on the cheap and really used to enjoy myself until people slagged off what I was doing (other modders with huge stacks of money and access to all sorts of machinery).

Whilst I still enjoy playing with PCs I really tend not to bother as much as I used to. Lots of people who mod PCs are quick to thank every one for their replies or whatever they generally tend not to comment on/praise other people's mods.

This place isn't quite that bad but trust me, on certain forums I visit you need to spend thousands just to get a comment.

It's pretty crappy but then that's how PC modding is. It was taken over by rich kids and is all about who can **** the highest.

Doesn't help that most modders are serious attention ****** and crave attention.

I guess there are two sides to it but I've seen the spiteful, petulant catty side of it so I'll don't bother any more.
