I am getting the asus p8z77-v and the gigabyte z77 UD3H for the same price where i am from...

I have seen mixed reviews on both boards and am confused as to which to pick.

I will be running a 3570k and water cooling in a few months.

I would take the asus board so you take benefit of pci-e 3.0 if you have a gen 3 gpu , if not just run it in pci-e 2.0 . ( even if there's nearly no performance increase 2.0 to 3.0 )

I'd go with the Gigabyte but there isn't much difference between them, just go with the one that has the features you want/need.

Gigabyte asus throws to many oldschool pci's in there lower end board reason why I got a GD65 is because it has none of those

Doesn't the asus board have better cooling? I have seen the gigabyte board get a lot of issues especially with the bios which i am going to be playing with a lot.

I am going to overclock it.

Mobo's don't get hot, so don't worry at all about cooling on the board.

The Gigabyte is very good, but also consider the MSI Z77 GD65 and GD55

Well i think i will stick to getting the gigabyte since i already own a 890GX board and have never encounter any problems. This is my fist time switching to intel so was kinda confused to what to get.

I would have like the MSI board but i am only getting the Gigabyte and Asus. I could order it online but if anything goes wrong with the board it will be very expensive for me to ship back to the U.S.

AND....... I am from the Caribbean it is always hot here. Everything heats up that's why i am going water cooling.
