Which to get ?

hello everyone, been looking at getting a Chromecast or the Amazon FireStick. Not sure on which one to go for. Could any of you guys help me out if you have either one of them ?

Firestick, far superior plus you have a remote rather than being forced to use your phone to control everything. Firestick works better on everything, faster hardware by a country mile. I have both, wish i never bought the chromecast, its pretty much redundant now.

We have both (and NowTV) and tbh the Chromecast hasn't been used in about eight months.

We've got the stick in the bedroom and the HD box out here in the living room with the talking remote.

It's awesome if you have Amazon Prime dude. It has Netflix on it for that too and as mentioned you don't need to tie up your phone as a remote/streamer.

We have Prime, Netflix and all of NowTV (inc sports) as we can't have a dish on our flat and there's no cable out here in the sticks.

I have seen/heard people running Kodi on them ? I think its like a root for it essentially and you can get normal TV on it. Not sure if I would do it cos I don't bother much with TV these days lol

A friend of mine is running Kodi on his and he absolutely loves it. Says you can watch pretty much anything.

Yeah my friend has it too and says its great. I might try it out but don't know lol
