Hmmm that dfi board is difficult to find so plan B..

Just been checking out the Abit IC7-G Max II advance nice mobo only £95 vat included..

The 1 thing i dont like is the crappy nb fan, on my other abit mobo an7 nb fan kept stopping after 2 weeks so i took it apart put in a single drop of oil, couple a weeks later same again stopped,went to an abit forum found out abit use cheap crappy compononts for nb fan,took it apart AGAIN oil AGAIN but this time i left off fan cover

and it,s been fine since...sorry for waffling on guys.

SO if i get the Abit IC7-G Max II advance could i remove nb fan an replace it with an heatsink......Thx for all your replys guys...DD

Thx i will,xp120 cooler wont fit the board but this one will ThermalRight XP-90C

any good,just need to find a decent fan for the cooler and my research is just about over,then i can order parts...

XP-90C = Great HS

Check into high speed panaflo's and low-mid speed Delta's.

high speed panaflo..is this anything like vantech tornado had one of these, first time i booted with this it sounded like the airforce was outside house..

got a model number for that high speed panaflo..thx

No no no... Panaflo's are nice and quiet and push a good amount of air. Probably the favorite fan of overclockers throughout the world

I can't think of any 92mm Panaflo part numbers off the top of my head, I'll have a look for you when I get off of work.
