EVGA 680i, best board right now for me testing some OC and I was in the 3.5 and with 4 gigs of OCZ ram just loving it. Evga has Lifetime Warr. Now a bad board!!

Get a P35 chip set board. A p35 Asus P5K Vanilla ran me ~ $150 which directly translates to around ~70. It's worth saving up for a P35 board. Better OCers, 1333 FSB, Penyrn support, the list goes on and on :)

P5K tbh if you can afford it...but it seems your mind is set on the P965 board don't know why though.... :S???

I'd go for the ASUS P5K, it is slightly more than 70, but only by a few. It would be a lower budget solution, but it would support more upcoming CPUs. Personally, I would wait until Fall to upgrade, as the C2D lineup will have likely dropped in price by then. My plan is to get a higher priced board, like the P5K Deluxe, and a C2D E6600 or E6700 when they are cheaper.

+1 for P5K

Great overclocker, top performance, future 45NM support, 1333 FSB, stable as an Intel board(imo)

Yes it will, making sure you've got the socket 775 mounting hardware.

The review i looked up was a 775 cooler only. Yes it will work, and its a pretty ncie HS too.

A Gigabyte P35C-DS3R would be a good option for a P35 board, seems to be a solid clocker and comes in at ~£85, a little over budget, but i`ve only heard good things about this board.
