Which graphics card to choose?

Hey folks

Second post! I am searching for a graphics card that will suits this build (the computer is not finished yet). It is going to house a

- Asus Rampage IV Formula
- Intel i7-4930K CPU
- Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 2 CPU Cooler
- 16GB RAM (G.skill Ripjaws Z PC3-14900, 4x4GB.)
- Corsair Force GS 240GB SSD
- Corsair 600T
- Corsair AX860W PSU

The graphics card just have to play games like BF4, Crysis, RTS games etc. But whether to choose AMD or Nvidia I cannot decide which or why or what. Budget is max 3000 DKK or around 340£ or 550$ with today course. Things tends to be a lot more expensive in Denmark.

PS. No watercooling on this round

for £340 the your best bet is a AMD R9 290, but i would highly recommend buying an after-market one when they are out (should be within the next few weeks).

If you can't wait then its either a GTX 770 or a reference R9 290 for that price range. the gtx 770 will be cheaper and have an aftermarket cooler but the R9 290 which has great performance but terrible cooling (hence why i said wait for a after-market cooler).

But that is nowhere near a R9-290 ?!

780ti = 290x(aftermarket coolers)>290>GTX780>=280x(depends on game)>GTX770.. Just a simple way to look at things.
