in a similar vein, can you install 2 seperate bioses on the DFI ULtra D ?

i read you can save different bioses settings (Good for me, as i am using UTT for benching) so can i use different bioses ?

Bootable CDROM (ISO) DOS Image w./ All Bios Revisions to Date (5/10/05):

http://indabasement.com/DFINF4/bios/DFI_BIOSROM.rar

ex: To Burn With Nero: Launch Nero -> Burn -> Image (nero6) or File -> Burn Image (nero5). Set First Boot to CDROM -> Follow On Screen Instructions to Flash.

As instructed here, burn the image to disk.

Set BIOS first boot device to be CDROM.

Put the disk in (press any key to boot from CD) and menu instructions will appear.

For 510-2 I think you have to type flash510-2 - everything is automatic then.

Make sure you clear the CMOS before flashing.

It's real easy, and presents the option of trying every single BETA bios release to date for the DFI NF4SLIDR MOBO.

Good luck.

And to do off a floppy download the bios create a bootable floppy disk it will let you select this option when you format the floppy

unzip the bios it should come with awdflash.exe and a bin file I normaly rename the bin file if its like N4D512-3.bin I will rename it to 513 makes it easier to remember lol

stick the awdflash.exe and the bin file onto the bootable floppy reboot yer pc

then type awdflash

and it will open a dos program it ask you for the file name type 513.bin or whatever you named the file it will ask if you want to save your bios say no then it will ask if you want to prgram you say yes and the if successful it will ask you to press f1 to reboot also to remove the floppy

reboot switch the pc off and clear the cmos and bang done :)

Clear as mud
