Specifically the 290, which would be the cooler of the aftermarket designs, preferably only taking up 2 slots?

Thanks

you cant really go wrong any tbh.

From my experience, go with the tri-x (sapphire), Lightning (MSI), PCS+ (powercolor) etc.

Believe it or not, the powercolor cards are actually quite good with excellent build quality and performance.

The main one to go for is the lightning, great cooling though Dicehunter has had quite some headaches with those in the past it would seem (290x variant)

EDIT: The vaporX seems to be great too, never tried it though.

I tried the Matrix Platinum from Asus and it literally made my case HOT and I mean stuff started to wilt inside the case lol, I know the MP's are made for LN2 but you think they would of put a decent cooler on the 290X version that was actually designed for the 290X instead of just plopping the 780 Ti's DCU2 shroud on to it.

A mate of mine has the Sapphire Vapor X and it's awesome, That and the Lightning are the 2 top 290/290X cards for cooling.

Ive always liked the Twin Frozr from MSI. Those always seem to perform very well in temps and noise.

Vapor-X gets my vote although a true dual slot gpu would be the XFX double D cards. What are you using it for as it sounds like to me you've got designs on an ITX.
