Which 32" LCD TV?

OK, my current 33" CRT is great, but always takes 10-15 minutes to 'warm up' before displaying a picture. Weird I know. So I have been searching around the net for the last 2 days and have found a few LCD TV's that look good, but I do not know alot about HD. I will be using my SD Freeview Recorder, PS2 and Wii on it. I have found:

Samsung LE32A456C - £384.99

Sharp LC32D44EBK - £372.28

Samsung LE32A436T1DXXU - £368.98

Hitachi 32LD8D20 - £369

TOSHIBA 32AV505D - £354.99

Acoustic Solutions LCD32761HDF - £349.99

LG 32LG3000 - £349.95

Vistron DB32-S - £280

Dabs Value/Digimate LTV-3212H - £249

I was aiming to spend around £350, but will go up to £400 max inc delivery. Any opinions on any of the above TV's would be great, or any TV's that I have missed off. Thanks.

Forget about 1080/720 for a moment, what interests me in these HD tv is the native resolutions for them in terms of when a pc is connected to them. Some take 720 and do 1080, but they native to 1368x768.

Names alone, Samsung/Toshiba/LG all I know make great screens, but obviously models vary even within manufacturers.

Quite supprized at the £350 tags. Would need to look further into the specs to really advise.

What connections do u need ? Do u need sound ? or hdmi ?

At the moment, I don't need HDMI. Yorkshire won't be getting Freeview HD until 2011 :( and I won't be getting a PS3 or Xbox 360 in the near future. So just a couple of scarts will do me, but I would want at least 1 HMDI for the future.

I just want a TV that will turn on in the morning so I can watch it while eating breakfast, or as soon as I home in from work. Thats why I don't want to spend £700 on a TV.

U looked into Freesat ?

I little, didn't like the idea of having to pay for installation, and then I would have to get a box that will record, as I can now not live without my SD freeview recorder.

Go for one of the big boys. I've got a Samsung 87DBX and it's fantastic. I've also got a 37" Tosh which does the trick. LG aint slouches either. If you can see em in action then all the better :)

I'd get the Regza in that list at that price... Quality TV! My mate bought it for a little more than that but it's knocking on the door of the much more expensive models and a lot cheaper price.

Seriously good TV.

Samsung, LG or Sharp TBH

LG has 2 year manu warranty, the rest have 1.

Samsung screens also do swivel on their stands.

Only thing I`d point out about the Samsung I have is the sound isn`t `tremendous`. Of course this could be down to the individual unit, or I may have dustied the cones or something.

Really test them when ur in there. HD source, SD source, Sound (with bass, as that tends to be the speaker breaker). - and as far as the picture is concerned, don`t judge it by standing 1 foot aways from it - they all can look crap 1 foot away, be sure ur at sitting distance, 6/7/8 feet. I`ve only seen 1 lcd tv that looked tremendous no matter where u stood, and that was an LG.

£350+10% tho, it`s not particularly expensive for a 32" LCD from a good manufacturer.

Ye ill try and look @ them all together, cheers for the tips. The sound I am not worried about, because atm all my sound goes through my 5.1, so non comes from the TV.
